These Times continue to be noticed by many as especially trying.
They may be.
We are in a whorl of transformation.
Storms, upheaval of so many systems (political, economic,
infrastructure....)
They are a reflection of our internal alchemies, individually, and
collectively, as well as universal forces at play in these times.
We are ready for transformation.
It is time.
This is the second of the 6 moon prophecies regarding these times.
It is a time for release of archaic structures which no longer serve us.
It is time to take action, which can mean surrendering to the Divine
within us, and to learn how to stand upright, empowered in the reality
of Who We Are.
Many teachers, many of those on the other side, tell us, it is time to
come to revelation of who we are, and that we are so much more than we
have yet to imagine, "Great Luminous Beings of Light", "Children of the
Divine."
We have so much to offer.
At the same time, many suggest the influx of universal energies which
are asking us to become awake, to come into living in Harmony with All
That Is, The Earth, The Cosmos, and Each Other. These energies can be
trying, and while they can assist us to come into illumination,
awakening, and harmony, they also can serve to make us feel tired, run
down, or exhausted, stressed or anxious, as those parts of us not yet
living in the Presence of ALL That Is, feel the approach of that reality.
It behooves us to spend some time these days, as we pass this phase of a
very special lunar cycle, to rest, reflect, appreciate our lives, let go
of those things which no longer serve us, and to build upon practices
that will assist us to stabilize, value, and empower ourselves in these
coming times of immense collective transformation.
It is time.

Discussie over titel "Sjamaan"
Onderstaand bericht ontving ik vandaag via de website Shamanportal. Het lijkt me nuttig daar de verschillende meningen over te horen.
Dear shamans of all nations,
A few days ago in response to an announcement we posted about www.shamanportal.org in one of the main shamanic groups on the internet, one of the readers sent us a response accusing us for being "Plastic Shamans" adding: "....I don't think that anyone who is not part of a native culture where there are actually shamans can call themselves that. The term "shaman" is used by commercial operators to denote any sort of nonsense that they wish to promote, and it has become a practically meaningless term, having nothing to do with the things that the word originally denoted. This "shaman community" is really just a name for a lot of unscrupulous operators who take money in order to blow smoke up people's hidden orifices. I checked a lot of them out and they are, to put it simply, phonies....This "white shaman" phenomena, where all of the shamans are either white folks or else they are white folks who claim Indian ancestry (are they different than other white folks?), is a parody of actual shamanism. Actual shamanism is a practice of third world, native peoples from a specific part of the globe, which one could not aspire to be a part of no matter how much wanted to. What people call shamanism in the context in which your business enterprises operate is actually "neo-shamanism".
Recently, an elder indigenous Pagé (shaman) deep in the Brazilian Amazon said to a group of visiting white folks: "We are all shaman. Don't you think that just because I wear those funny clothes and those colorful feathers on my head, I am more powerful then you are. We are all indigenous to Mother Earth, no matter where we come from."

Keltische bomenhoroscoop op Floriade
VENLO - De organisatie van de Floriade in Venlo wil gasten lokken met een oude Keltische bomenhoroscoop. Dat kan volgens beplantingsspecialist Jan Mauritz omdat 26 hectare van het 66 hectare grote floriadeterrein uit bos bestaat.
Mauritz zei dat woensdag tijdens een gesprek over de voortgang van de voorbereidingen van de Floriade in 2012. „Met een Keltische bomenhoroscoop kun je op de kalender kijken welke boom je bent, en dat zegt weer veel over je karakter”, zei Mauritz. Voor zover de betreffende bomen er nog niet staan, worden ze vanaf oktober geplant op het Floriadeterrein, zodat over vijf jaar iedereen zijn of haar „eigen” boom kan zien.
De organisatie wil met de wereldtentoonstelling vooral inhaken op het gevoel. „Er moet iets spannends te beleven zijn.” Ook religie speelt een rol. „Religieus getinte tuinen zijn goed voor de gezondheid en dat willen we gasten laten ervaren: een goed gevoel combineren met beplanting”, legde projectdirecteur Sven Stivac uit.
In totaal zijn er vijf thema's in het park. De verwachte 35.000 bezoekers per dag kunnen vanaf een centraal plein kiezen welk thema hun voorkeur heeft.
Een belangrijk verschil met vorige Floriades is dat een groot deel van het terrein en de bouwwerken blijven bestaan als groen bedrijvenpark gericht op innovatie van de tuinbouw. Zo komt er een kantoorflat die meer energie produceert dan hij gebruikt.

Aardbeving in Peru
De Peruaanse regering heeft de noodtoestand uitgeroepen. De beving met een kracht van 7,9 op de schaal van Richter vond plaats in de Stille Oceaan, vlak voor de kust van Peru. Het is de zwaarste aardbeving in Peru sinds vijftig jaar. Na de beving volgden negen naschokken die varieerden van 4 tot 6 op de schaal van Richter.
De burgerbescherming meldt op haar website 337 doden en meer dan duizend gewonden. Het ministerie van volksgezondheid spreekt van een veel lager dodental, namelijk 115.
Tsunamiwaarschuwing ingetrokken
Het Tsunami Warning Centre van de Stille Oceaan in Hawaï heeft de tsunamiwaarschuwing voor Peru, Ecuador, Chili en Colombia weer ingetrokken. Er was wel een kleine tsunami in Peru, maar die was niet gevaarlijk, aldus een woordvoerder.
Het epicentrum in de Stille Oceaan bevond zich 145 kilometer ten zuidoosten van de hoofdstad Lima op een diepte van circa 40 kilometer, maar was landinwaarts ook voelbaar.
De Peruaanse kustprovincie Ica was het zwaarst getroffen. Hier kwamen zeker twintig mensen om. Een kerk en tientallen huizen stortten in. In Lima sprongen ramen en viel de stroom uit. Ook de steden Pisco en Chincha liggen geheel in puin.

The Hopi Elders Speak
We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour. Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.
And there are things to be considered:
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feelthey are being torn apart, and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of theriver, keep our eyes open, and our heads above thewater. See who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do,our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Grootste Ceder van Nederland
ARNHEM - De grootste ceder van Nederland staat in Arnhem aan de Laan van Klarenbeek. De uit 1875 stammende boom krijgt deze week een onderhoudsbeurt, zodat hij weer jaren mee kan, zo hoopt de gemeente.
Speciale boomverzorgers zullen in de zogenoemde Libanonceder klimmen om de boom te snoeien. Daarna wordt de bestrating rondom de boom verwijderd, zodat de grond belucht kan worden. De verzorgers voegen voeding toe aan de bodem rondom de boom. De ceder krijgt volgens de gemeente een soort verjongingskuur.
Binnenkort begint de bouw van appartementen in de buurt van de monumentale boom. Dan plaatst de gemeente een hek om de omgeving van de ceder af te sluiten, zodat er geen beschadigingen kunnen optreden.
